Jónína Guðmundsdóttir joins BBA//Fjeldco as Managing Director
BBA//Fjeldco is delighted to announce the appointment of Jónína Guðmundsdóttir (Nína) as our new Managing Director. She succeeds Elísabet Einarsdóttir and has already assumed her role.
Nína brings a wealth of experience in strategic leadership, operations, people management, and organisational culture transformation to the role. She joins BBA//Fjeldco from Play airlines, where she was Chief People Officer and led the People and Culture division, overseeing critical areas including human resources, employee engagement, and organisational development, as well as playing a pivotal role in the early days of the company. Prior to her role at Play, Nína was Senior Vice President of Human Resources at WOW air, and before that, she was Human Resource Director at IT service corporation Advania.
She holds a B.Sc. degree in Business Administration from the University of Akureyri and a M.Sc. degree in Human Resource Management from Strathclyde University in the UK.
